Nadia Assad

Nadia joined the project directing staff at UWSC in 2014. She came to the Survey Center with many years of survey research administration experience and survey methods training. Nadia began at the UWSC as a telephone interviewer, was quickly promoted to phone room shift leader, then project director, and her familiarity with all aspects of survey administration at UWSC now make her an excellent senior project director.

In her current role, Nadia manages web and mail surveys on a variety of topics. She provides methodological assistance with self-administered questionnaire layout both on paper and on the web to other UWSC staff in addition to her clients. Nadia also assists UWSC’s Faculty Director and Survey Methodologist Jen Dykema with the development of questionnaire review and design infrastructure, and the publication of journal articles.

Nadia has a Master’s degree in Sociology from the UW-Madison, and she has served as a lecturer both at UW-Madison and Madison College in various Sociology courses. Before coming to the U.S., Nadia managed survey projects funded by organizations such as the United Nations Development Program and The World Bank.
