Dr. Margarete Wichmann joined the UW Survey Center project direction team as a Project Director on October 1, 2014.
Margarete has recently completed her Ph.D in Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and for the past year worked as a Postdoctoral Trainee at the Institute on Aging, with the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, School of Medicine and Public Health. During Margarete’s graduate work, she worked for four years as a project manager for 2 population-based cohort studies, the Epidemiology of Hearing Loss Study (EHLS) and the Beaver Dam Offspring Study (BOSS).
UWSC is excited to welcome Margarete to our growing staff of project directors. We look forward to applying her health research expertise to our many current and upcoming health and health-related survey research projects.
