UWSC welcomes Nadia Assad as a project director

Nadia Assad joined the UW Survey Center project direction team as a Project Director on November 1, 2014.

Nadia has a Master’s degree in Sociology from the UW-Madison, and has taught and lectured at both UW-Madison and Madison College. Nadia’s professional experience includes having managed survey research projects in Pakistan for the United Nations and the World Bank. She joined the staff at the UWSC in 2012 as a telephone interviewer, and for the past year and a half has worked as a shift leader on several major telephone survey projects, while assisting UWSC’s Survey Methodologist Dr. Jen Dykema with the development of questionnaire review and design infrastructure, and the publication of several journal articles.

UWSC is excited to welcome Nadia to our growing staff of project directors. We look forward to applying her hands-on data collection expertise along with her methodological survey research training and skills to the projects currently underway and upcoming at the Center.
