DESCRIPTION
The UWSC conducted a mail survey of 200 academic staff and 107 faculty in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) for the CALS Equity and Diversity Committee. The purpose of the project was to help understand the current climate for faculty and academic staff in CALS and to identify potential gender bias in the experiences of males and females. Mailing included three full mailings and a reminder postcard. The response rate for female faculty was 85.4%, for male faculty it was 84.8%. For female academic staff the response rate was 82.8% and for male academic staff it was 76.1%. The overall response rate for faculty and academic staff combined was 81.2%.
