DESCRIPTION
The Seat Belt Safety Study is part of a larger effort by the DOT to increase safety on WI roads. The goal of this study was to interview 400 randomly selected women and men in households throughout the state of Wisconsin to assess attitudes towards seat belt safety, habits of seat belt use, and attitudes towards public service announcements. The UWSC fielded 1,800 randomly generated Wisconsin phone numbers. The UWSC completed 592 interviews of approximately 10 minutes in length with a response rate of 53.7%
