Women in Science & Engineering Leadership Institute (WISELI)
The Study of Faculty Worklife at UW-Madison is conducted by researchers from the Women in Science & Engineering Leadership Institute (WISELI). It is funded entirely by income WISELI has earned through their outside activities. Results from previous years of the study have been used to improve the faculty hiring process, educate department chairs about challenges in the tenure process, and justify funding of grant programs.
