UWSC undergraduate interns Lee and Menzin present at the 27th Annual Undergraduate Symposium

UWSC undergraduate interns Mai Tah Lee and Lev Menzin presented at the 27th annual Undergraduate Symposium on Friday April 25th at Union South. The annual Undergraduate Symposium has been held since 1999 and showcases undergraduate endeavors in multiple areas of study at UW-Madison.

Mai Tah Lee presented “Sequential Incentives in Mixed-Mode Push-To-Web Survey Questionnaires.” Her research showcased the effect of second prepaid incentives on response rates and data quality among two different hard-to-reach populations. Lev Menzin presented on “Optimizing Data Quality for Multiple-Answer Survey Questions.” His presentation highlighted the effect of question format on data quality.

Audience members reacted enthusiastically to both presenters, engaging with thoughtful questions and showing a keen interest in their research topics. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mai Tah and Lev for their outstanding presentations and continued success at the UWSC.
