DESCRIPTION

The DNR Household Recycling Survey has been conducted seven times since 1989. This was the second time the UWSC has managed the data collection. The goal of this study was to interview 400 randomly selected men and women in households throughout the State of Wisconsin to assess participation in and opinions about recycling, outdoor recreation, children’s media produced by the DNR, and DNR decision-making. The UWSC fielded a sample of 1,700 randomly generated Wisconsin phone numbers. The UWSC completed at total of 446 interviews with an overall response rate of 51.93%.
